“Metron Ariston” – The Art of Balance

Plastic surgery is not about changing a person’s identity. Its purpose is to reveal the best version of oneself while preserving naturalness, individuality and the unique features that make each person distinctive.

Throughout my professional career, I have followed the timeless principle of “Metron Ariston”, as expressed by the ancient Greek sage Cleobulus. In aesthetic surgery, true beauty does not arise from excess, but from balance, harmony and respect for each person’s unique anatomy.

Every patient is unique. My goal is not to follow passing trends or unrealistic standards of beauty, but to understand each patient’s wishes and combine them with safety, scientific evidence and the highest surgical standards.

My training at leading Plastic Surgery centres in Switzerland, France and Canada, combined with more than thirty years of academic, clinical and surgical experience, has taught me that the best results are based on meticulous planning, advanced techniques and continuous evolution.

Research and innovation are an integral part of my daily practice, because every new scientific development provides another opportunity to offer safer procedures, faster recovery and natural, long-lasting results.

Technique FABS (Functional Aesthetically-balanced Breast Surgery)

The FABS technique achieves optimal breast shape and symmetry in accordance with the golden ratio of the breast, while preserving lactation, breastfeeding ability, and nipple sensation.

It focuses not only on volume enhancement but also on the ideal breast shape according to the golden ratio, as determined in our long-term study (Moufarrege & Dionyssopoulos, 2010). This study centers on breast dimensions and proportions, aiming to deliver harmonious results in mammaplasty:

Lateral View: Height to Projection (H/P ≥ 2.0)
Anterior View: Height to Width (H/W 0.7 to 1.3)

The Results…

Technique SLIT (Superior Liposculpture & Intensive Tightening)

The SLIT technique utilizes a combination of cutting-edge liposuction technologies, including Ultrasound-Assisted Lipoplasty (UAL) and Helium Plasma Radiofrequency (RF) energy, to simultaneously remove fat and address skin laxity.

It delivers high-definition liposuction with optimal contouring outcomes for the abdomen, buttocks, back, arms, and thighs, as well as the facial contour (double chin). Dr. Alexandros commonly combines this procedure with autologous fat transfer for buttock and breast augmentation, as well as facial and hand volumization and rejuvenation.

Anesthesia & Hospitalization

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia.
The patient is admitted in the morning and discharged the following day.

The Results…

Technique MALF (Minimal Access Liposculpture Facelift)

The Technique

The MALF technique involves a minimally invasive surgical procedure where excess skin is removed through an inconspicuous incision placed pre-auricularly and post-auricularly.

Designed to lift the lower two-thirds of the face, this approach is paired with Liposculpture, where autologous micro-fat grafts are strategically injected into key areas to enhance facial contours, stimulate collagen production, and restore skin elasticity.

It can be performed at the earliest signs of aging—typically around the age of 40 to 45—to correct laxity and the loss of firmness in both facial and cervical skin and musculature. Dr. Alexandros Dionysopoulos focuses meticulously on proportions and equilibrium without distorting natural facial characteristics.

The Results…

Dr. Alexandros Dionysopoulos’s philosophy is never to alter the fundamental structure or identity of the face.
